Santa Clara, Cuba: Cuban artists’ perspective on the U.S.

Feature, Photo Spotlight — By on December 22, 2009 at 8:37 pm

In May, Geoff and I were in Santa Clara, Cuba,  the site of the final battle of the Cuban Revolution, one fought and won by Che Guevara, and thus a defining city within the country. We strolled past a wall of graffiti-style murals all featuring anti-American, revolutionary-focused murals and artwork. Check out some highlights below.

This mural is a gift from the Cuban artists of Santa Clara...its content is dedicated to antiterrorist Gerardo Hernandez Nordelo and his comrades imprisoned in the USA.
